Growing Together Since 2006
Trinity Lutheran Church & School has been part of the Wausau community since 1908. In 2006, we expanded our ministry to families by opening Trinity Childcare, providing daily care for children ages 2–5. We began with just six children and two teachers.
As the needs of local families grew, so did our childcare ministry. In 2007, we opened a second classroom to welcome infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 2 years. Since those early days, Trinity Childcare has continued to grow—not only in size, but in the ways we serve, teach, and care for children and families.
Today, Trinity Childcare offers six classrooms with care beginning at 6 weeks old. We also provide before and after school care and summer care for elementary students. Our team includes more than a dozen dedicated and qualified childcare providers who share a passion for helping children grow. We encourage our teachers and caregivers to continue growing in their education, skills, and faith so they can provide the very best care for the children entrusted to us.
Through every stage of growth, our mission remains the same: to connect children and families with a changeless Christ in an ever-changing world.
