Serving Our Community
Serving Others is a way for Christians to show the light and love of Jesus Christ. Trinity teachers organize several age-appropriate service events so that our children learn at even the youngest level to serve others and let their light shine!
Elementary School Service
Service opportunities at the Middle School level include but are not limited to:
- Penny Wars – An annual fundraising event for missions abroad
- Peer Tutoring – Students tutoring other students who may be struggling to understand the content
- Safety Patrol – Students safely welcome others in the car-line and leave the parents with a “God bless your day!”
- Acolyting- Serving in the church is another one of the ways Middle School students an help
- Bell ringing – Salvation Army bell ringing between Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Food, Hygiene and Clothing drives – for community partners at Neighbor’s Place, Women’s Community, and the Salvation Army to name a few
Middle School Service
Service opportunities at the Elementary level include but are not limited to:
- Christmas caroling in local nursing homes
- Creating blessing bags for local homeless families
- Writing Get Well cards for congregation members who are sick
- Sending THANK YOU cards to our local community partners at the Wausau Police Department and Fire Department
- Greeting Veterans at our annual Veterans Day Celebration and Service
