
Pastor Dennis Pegorsch accepted the call to the pastoral position at Trinity Lutheran Church and School in March of 1996. He “repositioned” in April of 2007 but plans to continue to be involved with ministry at Trinity in the areas of Older Adult Ministry, Wausau Christian Outreach Center for the Blind, Home Visitation and Family Camping.
He was born in Shawano, Wisconsin and grew up in Manawa, Wisconsin. He attended Concordia College in Milwaukee, Concordia Senior College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri (graduating in 1967). He later received a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of WI-Milwaukee (1971) and the Doctor of Ministry degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (1994).
Prior to Trinity, he served in team ministry at St. Peter – Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Milwaukee for seven years and at St. John Lutheran Church and School in Plymouth, Wisconsin for 22 years (14 as Administrative Pastor).
The Lord has blessed Pastor Pegorsch with four children: David, Christine and Kim and Jeffrey (twins) and numerous grandchildren. Pastor Pegorsch enjoys gardening, camping, reading, hiking, and spending time with his family.
