Mrs. Anklam is excited to be back in the full time teaching ministry at Trinity. She grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, but has been a member at Trinity since moving here in 1989 to begin her teaching ministry. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Lutheran Education from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Education from Silver Lake University. Lissa taught at Trinity for 10 years and then took a break from teaching to focus on raising her children. She worked for many years as a substitute teacher at Trinity and in the Wausau School District, most recently as a long-term substitute teacher, before returning full-time as our 5th grade teacher.
Lissa and her husband Tim have four children who have grown up here in the Trinity family. Lissa says that “time spent together as a family is definitely my favorite hobby.”
We marvel at God’s handiwork in calling Mrs. Anklam back into the ministry of teaching His children at Trinity Lutheran School. Creating a Christ centered, joy filled, and stimulating learning environment while building relationships with students and their families is a priority to her as an educator. She looks forward to the joys, the challenges, and the incredible blessings that God has in store for her as a classroom teacher!
