Middle School Spiritual Growth

Trinity Lutheran School is a Christ-centered parochial school. All classrooms focus on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with daily devotions, prayers and Bible studies.

Trinity has special worship services throughout the school year celebrating special days such as Veterans Day, the first & last days of school, Christmas, National Lutheran Schools Week, and more.

Chapel services are planned and led by the students, or other special guests on Wednesday mornings at 10:00. The services are held in our Upper Sanctuary or Spiritual Life Center (SLC). While children of all grades “lead” chapel services throughout the year, Trinity Middle School students assist in planning, skit-writing, and choosing elements of the service, showing advanced leadership in Chapel activities.

Students are assigned “Chapel Buddies” for the school year. This gives Trinity Middle School students an opportunity to mentor younger students. The relationships formed between these students can last a lifetime – students are encouraged to celebrate the achievements of their Chapel Buddies.

Trinity middle school students are also encouraged to join all the 6th-12th grade students in our congregation at our youth group (Youth at Trinity) events. Youth at Trinity is a consistent place for teenagers to hear the faith purely taught and confessed according to Holy Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. We strive to provide a safe space for students to be themselves and learn about their faith, become more involved in their spiritual life, and grow through their teen years.
