Mrs. Page loves the privilege she has of teaching third graders each day! She realizes the importance of making school fun and meaningful while meeting each child’s individual learning style. Her love for Jesus is evident in how she cares for her students and also in how she handles conflicts that may arise. She believes that communication with parents is key in creating successful partnerships in each child’s learning.
Mrs. Page likes creating and teaching lessons in which students learn across the curriculum. She enjoys integrating technology to help prepare students for the world around them. And of course, integrating our Christian faith in all we do is an integral part of our day! Some things to look forward to in third grade are: special classroom rewards and surprises; a trip to the Grand Theater; leading Chapel worship; being featured as the “Top Dog”; reading, researching, and presenting a biography project; and the end-of-the-year Family Celebration Night.
Mrs. Page attended Trinity Lutheran School in Merrill, WI, where several of her teachers inspired her to become a teacher herself. She has a degree in Elementary Education with a Music specialization from Concordia University-Chicago. She feels very blessed to have started her teaching career at two excellent schools in Houston, Texas, where she gained eight years of valuable experience before returning back to her home state of Wisconsin. She has taught at several Lutheran schools in the Merrill and Wausau area and has 28 years of experience in 4K through 8th grade.
Mrs. Page and her husband have four wonderful children. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Page enjoys spending time with her family, rubber stamping/card making, flower gardening, and watching her children’s sporting teams, the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds and Merrill Bluejays.
Jeremiah 29:11
