Mrs. Anklam is excited to be back in the full time teaching ministry at Trinity. She grew up in Wisconsin Rapids, but has been a member at Trinity since moving here in 1989 to begin her teaching ministry. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Lutheran Education from Concordia University Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Education from Silver Lake University. Lissa taught at Trinity for 10 years and then took a break from teaching to focus on raising her children. She has worked for many years as a substitute teacher at Trinity and in the Wausau School District, most recently as a long-term substitute teacher.
Lissa and her husband Tim have four children (Hannah, Wyatt, Garrett, and Gabe) who have grown up here in the Trinity family. Lissa says that “time spent together as a family is definitely my favorite hobby.”
We marvel at God’s handiwork in calling Mrs. Anklam back into the ministry of teaching His children at Trinity Lutheran School. Creating a Christ centered, joy filled, and stimulating learning environment while building relationships with students and their families is a priority to her as an educator. She looks forward to the joys, the challenges, and the incredible blessings that God has in store for her as a classroom teacher!
